Jake McDermott is head of health and physical education at Geneva Christian College in Tasmania and has a passion for sport and faith. An athlete himself, Jake has transitioned into teaching and research with a keen eye for how Christian faith is formed in in young people in and through sport. His research explores student identity, with a particular focus on understanding sport as a form of worship in Christian education.
