Education and Transformation
At the intersection of sport and Christianity, there may be no more prominent voice at the moment than that of Dr. Paul Putz, assistant director of the Faith and Sports Institute at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary. Paul’s disciplinary background is history, and he is working on a book on the history of sport and Christianity it the United States.
Paul uses this historical lens to speak into current issues in sport and Christianity. He has been quoted by numerous mainstream media outlets over the past few years and has attracted quite an audience on Twitter (@p_emory).
Follow Paul’s work at his website and follow him on Twitter. And be sure to check out his keynote address at the Christians Working in Sport conference in June.
