Rabbi Erez Sherman is the co-senior rabbi at Sinai Temple in Los Angeles and the host of the podcast Rabbi on the Sidelines. Rabbi Sherman grew up with a deep love for sports and has spent years bringing a faith perspective to the world of athletics. He interviews athletes, coaches, managers, owners, and fans about their personal journeys, peak performance, overcoming challenges, representation in sports, and the deeper values that connect competition and spirituality. He has also been featured on Inside the NBA and appeared as an in-studio guest on ESPN’s NBA Today where he discuss antisemitism in professional sports.
