Wiebe Boer, the new President of Calvin University, tells his story of running among goats, growing up in Jos, setting a high school city record, rescuing his son, and falling in love with sport. Though he wanted to play football, he found success by running fast across the fields and on the track. Dr. Boer details how football, a sport brought by missionaries, was a unifying force in his home nation Nigeria, and how Christians can and should use the gift of sport to further benefit God’s kingdom.
